The much-awaited implementation of the Ekiti-CARES program has finally kick-off in the 3 Result Areas. This was made possible by the staggering amount of N500 million naira released by Ekiti State Government in November last year for prior results activities on leading to the awaited World Bank Advance to the Eligible States.
In Ekiti State, five delivery platforms were identified to implement the 3 results areas of the NG-CARES program. These are Ekiti CSDA, FADAMA, Micro-Finance and Enterprise Development Agency (MEDA), Cash Transfer office, and Public Works.
From all of these, Ekiti CSDA is saddled with the responsibility of delivering DLI 1.4 which is Community Infrastructure Services based on the four implementation areas covering Education, Health Care Services, Water and Sanitation, and Nutrition.
