His Excellency, The Executive Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri have been commended for his passion for the NG-CARES program and his plight for the less privilege in the society. This commendation was made by the General Manager AD-CSDA, Prof Anthony Dami, Friday during an interactive session with management and staff preparatory to a Stakeholder Sensitization which is to begin Monday.
The exercise which is to cover the entire State is to sensitize Stakeholders on the NG-CARES program under result Area one(1).
The Adamawa State Community and Social development Agency (AD-CSDA) is one of the delivery platform for the implementation of the COVID-19 Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus (NG-CARES) programme in the State. The Agency will implement the project through two(2) Disbursement Linked Indicators (DLIs).
The two DLIs are, DLI 1.2 and DLI 1.4. The key objective of the NG-CARES program is “To expand Access to livelihood support and food security services and grants for poor and Vulnerable households and Firms”. The project have since commenced in Adamawa State and a State Wide Sensitization is now on top gear to prepare grounds for the full implementation.
